Well… here we are, almost at the end of the month. How did that happen so fast?
In my last post, I talked about easing into visions and goals for the year ahead, and I still fully believe in that. But I also believe something just as important: we don’t need to put so much pressure on ourselves. Pressure creates stress, and let’s be honest—we already have plenty of that coming from the outside world. No need to pile more on.
Over the weekend, I helped host a goal-setting workshop at my gym that included making vision boards. It was my first time, and I’ll admit—I was a little nervous. But it turned out to be such a fun and meaningful experience. The members who came seemed to walk away with real clarity, and it was honestly so special to sit in a creative space and help people bring their visions to life.
It really reminded me how powerful visuals can be.
There’s something about seeing what you want—whether it’s how you want to feel, where you want to go, or the kind of life you’re trying to build. When you consistently see images that represent your intentions, it can gently guide your mindset and actions in that direction.
It’s similar to self-talk. The nicer things you say to yourself, the more impact they have over time. A vision board works the same way. When you keep looking at something that truly excites you—and something you actually want—it starts to matter. It starts to stick.
So wherever you are right now in your journey, take the pressure off needing to have everything figured out. You don’t need a perfect plan or a five-step roadmap.
Instead, consider taking a moment to create a vision board—something that reflects what you want to attract into your life. You can do this digitally with images online, or there are even really fun vision board books you can grab on Amazon.
However you do it, pay attention to how it makes you feel. If it makes you feel good, inspired, or excited—even just a little—that’s a sign it belongs on your board.
You don’t need it all figured out. You just need a vision that feels good.
At the end of the day, this isn’t about rules or timelines. It’s about choosing what lights you up.
