TBT: DC Wedding Portraits

Another TBT of wedding photos.

Woohoo!

These are some of my favs.

After our “first look” at the Jefferson Memorial, we decided to do some photos of just the two of us at the monuments. Because this was a DC wedding after all! And the monuments are simply stunning!

I was really nervous leading up to it because you never know what the weather is going to be like in early December. We had all sorts of back up plans (well, Michael did, at least!).

But Mother Nature was kind to us and blessed us with a gorgeous fall-like day. It was breath-taking.

After our first look, we limo-ed to a bunch of other iconic DC spots: The Lincoln Memorial, with views of the Washington Monument; the gorgeous rotunda in the National Gallery of Art; and the Neptune Fountain, near both the Library of Congress and the Capitol Building.

I loved walking through the museum and getting interesting looks!
With our Matron of Honor and Best Man.

We then took some portraits at Meridian Hill Park, across the street from our wedding venue, The Josephine Butler Parks Center.

My current lock screen on my phone…
As a birthday present to Michael, I typed up my wedding vows in the dark part of this photo.
One of my favorites!
These pictures always bring back happy memories and give me a goofy, in-love glow.

Love it. 🙂
